As with all wind up timers it takes a bit of work to time anything under 5 minutes
For times less than 5 minutes it is best to set to 5 minutes and then gently work the knob backwards
This timer was as accurate as my iPhone timers when set to 5 minutes
It has a nice solid, audible tick as it counts done
Clear ding when it is done
It only dings once as old wind up timers do
