AUTHENTIC. NOT A WORTHLESS REPRODUCTION. FULL SIZE. Rare 41 year old poster by artist Alton Kelley. Very scarce! First and only printing. Printed before the show in an edition of only 325 copies. VERY HARD TO FIND. I purchased this directly from Bill Graham's own archives at Wolfgang's Vault but they are now sold out and it is no longer available anywhere.
This iconic poster was created for what would end up being a cancelled show in London three days following the band's three historic 1978 Egypt concerts on the Gizeh Plateau. It features the same classic image as the Egypt poster but has the cancelled Rainbow Theatre information. Just 325 specimens of this poster were produced. This is your chance to own a very rare piece of history that will only increase in value.
Printed on relatively heavy card stock. Never hung. Never displayed. Smooth surface. Crisp edges. No creases. No tackholes. No rips. No tears. No tape. See pictures. Has been carefully stored in a dark smoke-free and pet-free environment since I acquired it. Any slight glare is due to camera flash. Image is absolutely pristine.
